Pranyalab was founded by Pranay Alok, who spent years as a physics teacher before turning full-time to building technology for infrastructure operators. That background — explaining complex systems clearly, demanding evidence before accepting a claim — shapes how the company approaches municipal infrastructure today.

The company is based in Bhagalpur, Bihar. Not in a metro tech hub, but close to the municipalities the product is built for. That proximity matters: the problems being solved — missing asset records, paper surveys that never sync, complaint tickets with no ground truth — are problems seen firsthand in tier-2 and tier-3 cities across India.

CiviPro is the company's flagship product — a verified civic asset registry spanning ground survey capture, asset identity, complaint routing, field operations, and India-hosted data sovereignty. Built as an integrated system, not a collection of disconnected modules.
